I continue to add this complaint...a complaint that falls on deaf ears....that the pressure put on judges in Florida to CLEAR THE FORECLOSURE BACKLOG! is perpetuating gross abuse of consumers. The NMS is directly responsible because the money designated to "help" consumers was channeled to the courts who are setting up foreclosure purge sessions statewide. But it's not just consumer rights attorneys who are complaining....the bank and plaintiff side are complaining about this now too. In my consultation with their attorneys, the banks too lament that they are being forced to take cases to trial, in violation of NMS, but local judge don't care about NMS. It sure would be meaningful if courts were given some guidance and asked to "back off" if they are advised that the consumer and bank are working out under the terms of NMS......
